What we collect

You can read every page here without an account. Our servers keep the usual technical logs when you load a page: your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time. We use them to keep the site running, to see which guides and links are popular, and to spot abuse.

If you send a suggestion through the Suggest a link form or email us, we keep what you sent for as long as it takes to review it and reply. The name and email fields on the form are optional.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies for analytics and, where present, for advertising. Analytics cookies measure overall traffic and do not identify you personally. Advertising partners may set their own cookies under their own policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser and the site will still work.

Outbound links

The directory links to other websites. We check that they work and are useful, but we do not control them, and their privacy practices are their own.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may be able to ask what we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. Email info@crosswordresources.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We do not sell personal information.
